Client Background
Maekersuite, founded in July 2020, is an AI-driven video creation platform dedicated to democratizing video production. Leveraging over a decade of industry experience, Maekersuite offers tools that analyze trending content and competitor videos, enabling users to research, plan, and create high-quality video content in minutes.
Their mission is to empower individuals and businesses to tell their stories effortlessly through compelling visual storytelling.

The Challenges
Maekersuite faced several challenges hindering their business growth:
- Establishing an Organic User Acquisition Channel: As a new entrant in the market, Maekersuite needed to build a sustainable organic channel to attract users without relying heavily on paid advertising.
- Budget Constraints: Operating with limited marketing budgets, they required high-impact, cost-effective strategies to achieve rapid user acquisition.
- Initial User Base Development: Aiming to secure their first 1,000 users to gather valuable feedback for product development and to convert early adopters into paying customers.
- Underdeveloped Marketing Website: Despite having a robust product, minimal attention was paid to the marketing website, limiting its effectiveness in attracting and converting visitors.
Our Approach
Before we could develop an effective SEO strategy, we needed to deeply understand Makersuite's business, audience, and market landscape. Unlike traditional SEO projects, where generic keyword research might suffice, Makersuite's success depended on how well we could align SEO with the complex video production workflow its users followed.
1. Discovery: The Video Production Workflow

To drive meaningful traffic, we needed to understand how content creators work and where they seek solutions. Maekersuite’s audience consists primarily of content producers creating talking-head videos – a popular format for YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other social platforms.
We broke down the video creation process into key stages:
- Pre-production: Research, ideation, scriptwriting, storyboarding.
- Production: Video recording, voiceovers, scene planning.
- Post-production: Editing, adding captions, branding elements, publishing.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyzing engagement, adjusting strategies for better reach.
From here, we mapped out where their target audience was posting their content:
- YouTube – Long-form, high-value educational content.
- TikTok & Instagram Reels – Short-form, high-engagement videos.
- LinkedIn – Thought leadership, business content.
- X (Twitter) – Quick snippets, repurposed content from other platforms.
Without this foundational research, we wouldn't have been able to create content that matched search intent and aligned with how content creators actively search for solutions at different stages of their workflow.
2. Product-led SEO Content Strategy

With a clear understanding of how content creators work, we focused on a product-led SEO strategy that positioned Maekersuite as the ultimate tool for the end-to-end video production workflow from ideation/planning to video scriptwriting, editing, and monitoring.
Instead of targeting generic high-volume keywords, we built content around specific user workflows. Each step in the content creation journey was an opportunity to create SEO-rich, high-intent content.
For each platform (YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.), we developed multiple product-focused pages:
- YouTube Video Idea Generator
- YouTube Script Generator
- YouTube Video Editing Tool
- YouTube Publishing Tool
- YouTube Monitoring Tool
We identified 30+ specific tools within the end-to-end workflow and repeated this framework for all social media platforms.
This multi-layered content structure allowed us to capture hundreds of long-tail searches while providing hyper-relevant content for Makersuite's potential users.
Why This Worked:
- Users search for platform-specific solutions rather than generic terms (e.g., "TikTok script generator" has more purchase intent than "video script generator").
- Each piece of content was tightly aligned with the user’s workflow, meaning they were more likely to convert.
- This approach allowed us to quickly generate hundreds of pages that were still highly relevant and actionable, giving the client SEO scalability.
3. Strategic Backlinking

With content in place, our next step was to increase domain authority and ensure strong internal linking. The website was brand new, so it was super important to work on increasing domain and page authority.
To structure the website for SEO and user experience, we developed pillar pages that acted as hubs for each content category.
- TikTok Video Production Solutions – This page contained sections on:
- TikTok Script Generator
- TikTok Video Editing Tools
- TikTok Publishing & Monitoring
- Video Script Generator (Category) – This page linked to:
- TikTok Script Generator
- YouTube Script Generator
- LinkedIn Video Script Generator
By internally linking these pillar pages to supporting content, we ensured that SEO authority flowed efficiently, boosting rankings for all pages.
We then focused backlink acquisition efforts on high-value pillar pages rather than spreading them thin across hundreds of pages. This meant:
- More powerful, concentrated authority for key pages.
- Easier link-building efforts (since broad topics attract more backlinks).
- "Link juice" flowed from pillar pages to individual tool pages, improving rankings across the board.
The Results

Although this was a three-month project focused on content production and link-building, the impact extended well beyond the initial engagement, driving sustained long-term growth.
- Organic Traffic Growth: Within three months, the website grew from zero to 3,000 monthly organic visitors. This established a strong foundation for continued traffic growth beyond the project timeline.
- User Sign-Ups: Over the next 12 months, the SEO strategy contributed to 10,000 new user sign-ups, surpassing the initial goal of 1,000 early adopters and maintaining a steady growth trajectory.
- Content Expansion: More than 100 pages of targeted content were published, covering key user workflows and long-tail keyword opportunities. This ensured ongoing search visibility and audience engagement.
- Business Impact: The increase in organic traffic and user engagement provided valuable product feedback, leading to platform enhancements, a refined marketing strategy, and further investment in growth initiatives.
